5th Grade Guys Night

College Park PTA is hosting “Guys’ Night” for our 5th grade boys and their adult role model on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m in the College Park Elementary MPR. This program focuses on facts and feelings about the onset of puberty.

Studies have shown that parents and their children benefit from this type of experience for the following reasons:

• The presented facts about puberty will promote discussion.
• It is important for children to feel comfortable asking adults questions about puberty.
• It sends the message to young adolescents that adults are valuable resources.
• Young boys who are prepared for the changes they are about to experience in puberty will have decreased fears, reduced stress, and reassurance that puberty is a very normal process.
• It sends the message to your child that this is an important time in their life when many changes will occur and that you are showing your support.

Dinner will be provided!
